Reaction to Gangnam Style video

The video above shows the reaction of teens toward Gangnam Style. Some people thinks that the videoof Gangnam Style is weird, stupid, and of the chart of swag while other people thinks that the video is funny, entertaining, and very interesting. Gangnam Style is South Korean music made by Korean Artist PSY. The song was released on July 2012. Gangnam Style is the first youtube video that over one billion views. As March 2013 come, the music has been viewed over 1.380 billion times on Youtube. When I first saw the video Gangnam Style, it caught my attention very quick because I never saw something like that before and I think its very funny when he dance everywhere. What caught my attention on the video i think has something to do with the signature dance move known as "the horse-riding dance," which combines the stylistic elements of shuffle dancing and hand movements resembling the posture of a horseback rider.   Now that the Gangnam Style is the most famous song in globe. Here is some question  can Psy top Gangnam Style? PSy told MTV that he might "ending" because gangnam style got so popular that he has so small chance to top it. Same goes the singer Gotye music "Somebody I used to Know," and  Carly Rae Jepsen's Call me maybe. And they are all great musician and have great music. For me, it doesn't matter if they can't top it up, as long as they made a good song. Well, They are already successful person so they have to be glad and feel good about it. So, does it matter what people think? As long you become success it doesn't matter.

The Debut

The video above is the first Filipino American Film to be released theatrically nationwide on year 2000.This movie shows the problems between families and the difference of the immigrant people and the second generation people. The difference between first generation and second generation people is how the way they raise. The parents of first generation are likely old school style; they are strict to their child, the Dad are working and the mom is staying home to focus on raising their child well mannered. Since the parent of the second generation migrated, they have to work to survive and adjust with the new environment thus no time for their children to be taught disciplined.  Anyway, the movie revolves with the Senior high school guy name Ben. He plans to go on an Art University College but his father disagree. Even though, he still want to go and run away from his family on the 18th Birthday of his sister name Rose. But to his surprise, his sister's birthday challenges his sense of Identity, and the way he regard his family. On that night he found out the true meaning of relationship of family and friends.

This Filipino American film reminds me a lot of my family but of course I'm also a Filipino so it's no surprise. I understand how Ben's feel about his Father deciding what course Ben going to take. The similar way happen to me but my family didn't decide what course I gonna take instead they suggest it over and over again. They using a psychological technique on me. For example, a kid brag about what they want to their parents until the parents got annoy and give what their children to shut them off. Good think I study Psychology when I was high school. When I notice that they brag about getting a nursing career well I told them what career I want to master and that is specialize in computer ( computer science, graphic and design, etc). After that they stop bragging about nursing. If I let them brag about getting a nursing degree well it's going to be complicated for me to know what field of computer I want to take. So, talk about.

Don't read it's stupid

My first halloween in United States with my friends.  At 6 pm, my friends and I started to go house to house for free candy. Some house that we go to, told us that we are a tall kids. Well, of course we already an adult but we didn't tell them that. We just want free candy. Note to myself, never trick and treating again because it's embarrassing. After an hour of walking we decided to stop  trick or treating  and go to Sweetwater, where our another friends are. So, we go back to my friend's house and he ask his brother if he can give us a ride to the Sweetwater. We got there at 7 or 8 pm, I think and meet up with our another friend who is waiting for us. When we got I treat my friends a medium pizza and drinks at Pizza Hot because I'm hungry. Over all, it's a jolly good day.

Planning Your Career

Have you already decided on your career?

When I started College at Southwestern, I don't have any idea on what career I want to take. So, I took this course called Personal development. The counselors said that it will help to decide and plan the career I want to take. In Personal Development class we took different kinds of test like personality test. The personality test will tell you if you are shy or sociable; realistic or imaginative; thinker or feeler; judging or perceptive, and when you learn what is your personality they will give a list of major and career that fit with your personality. After the result of my test, it gives me a little idea of what I want to take. The only thing I have to do now is look in the list and look for the career that goes with my interest.

Stupid things I did as a kid

Do you still remember?
We've all done stupid things right and when we look back at the past and see what we did, we can either feel proud or shameful. But I think the stupid things are the most memorable.
When I was a kid, I saw a movie that has a paratroopers in it. I think it was cool so I took my mom's umbrella to the stairs and jump with the umbrella. It didn't work like the movie does. I broke my leg. I used to build a wooden sword and play with myself. Draw a pictures on the walls inside the house. When I hear the airplane noise, I would run out the house just to see it. I swing my arms up and down just like the bird and I tried flying. Every time I think about it makes me laugh. Good times.

The Importance of Sleep

Why college student want to go to sleep?

Base on my own experience. I have a hard time focusing on what my professors are saying in class when I only get six hours of sleep because I have to do my homework the night before. I did bad on my test just because I didn't listen to my professor's lecture and I miss the important parts of the lecture that is on the test.
I love taking a nap because there are so many benefits from it.
Sleep makes you feel better or fresh. During sleep you can strengthen memories or "practice" skills learned while you were awake (it's a process called consolidation). Research indicates that people who get less sleep- six or fewer hours a night- have higher blood levels of inflammatory proteins than those who get more. So, getting enough of sleep will help me to get an A+ grade in class because it will be easy to remember things when our minds fresh and ready to process information.

Amazing Tron Dance

     

Wow! Outstanding!

Watching the video above is the best thing I ever seen in my whole life. The reason why this is the best performance I ever seen in my whole is because they are the first crew that I seen dancing in the dark. It’s hard to dance in the dark with the big crew and I can tell that they work their effort to this thing.I think this crew uses engineering and some type of an illusion to make the performance very entertaining. One small mistake can ruin everything and it can injure their crew member. If they are not careful enough and watch where they going, he/she can hurt his/her teammate. For example, he/she can push his/her teammate off the stage. If I can grade them, I give them an A+. It’s just so amazing!
